Catch Up Funding
 
From March 2020, as a result of Covid-19, schools were only open to key worker and vulnerable children as part of a national lockdown as directed by the government.  Schools fully re-opened in September 2020 only have to close (to most children) from 5th January 2021.  The national lockdown continues with a plan for a phased transition back to schools being open to all pupils from 8th March 2021. 
 
In a bid to help some children `catch up' on any missed education and to minimise the negative impact of Covid-19, the government have awarded all schools additional funding.  Details of Christ the King's plan of how it will use the Catch Up funding is set out below.
