Thank you all so much for your support and patience as we trial new routines to help the children settle in.
Please be aware that PE days may change. We will inform you as soon as we have them fnalised.
We will be trialing a new reading routine on Monday.
Each child will be given 3 reading books for the week. They are expected to read for a minimum of 10 minutes a day, more if they wish.
If they have completed their books, please return them on the Friday. The children can read books from home in the meantime and we are hoping to have Bug Club up and running soon to help with this. If they have not completed their books, please return them on the Friday anyway.
Please feel free to phone the office if you need to make a phone appointment to speak to either of us.
Miss Roberts and Ms Kent
Thank you all for a brilliant start to the new year!
The children have settled in so well, and we're looking forward to a fun-filled year with them.
PE days will be Thursday and Friday at the moment, subject to change. Children will be asked to come to school dressed in their PE kits on those days.
Every child should now have a reading book and reading journal. They should be reading for at least 10 minutes every day to an adult. There is no need to finish a book in one evening. Please make sure their journals are signed by the adult who listened to them read, as we will be checking daily. They may lose some play time to catch up with reading from next week, if they have not had their journal signed.
Many thanks again for your support.
